Norco Sasquatch (la prova)
Da quasi una settimana pedalo con questa bici.
Grazie al Negozio Cyclelab di Conegliano, ho avuto modo di testarla in tutti i miei terreni preferiti.
Esteticamente è diversa da tutte le fat in commercio, creata per non dare fastidio nelle condizioni estreme, si distingue dalla concorrenza.

Personalmente la trovo molto bella, il telaio è davvero minuscolo, sembra fatto solo per imprigionare le gomme.
Di serie questo modello monta gia' Bluto, ed a detta del costruttore (Norco), il telaio è pensato proprio in virtù di questo.
Ecco le impressioni di guida.
La bici è diversa da ogni altra fat che ho provato; la guida è alta di stampo quasi enduristico, l'avantreno leggero e per guidare di precisione bisogna portarsi in avanti e caricarlo.
Non sembra per nulla amare i percorsi scorrevoli e i trasferimenti, meno di ogni altra fat in cui sono salito!
Nella salita il peso di serie con pedali 15,5 kg non la rende certo scattante, ma anche le geometrie sembrano assecondare la sua indole gravity.
Proprio in discesa questa bici sembra rendere al meglio, agile nello strettissimo, permette di scendere dove non esiste nessuna traccia, passando sopra a qualunque cosa!
La Rock Shox Bluto fa il suo dovere e rende sicuro qualsiasi passaggio, come ogni fat preferisce il tecnico lento, nel veloce altre bici possono andare molto meglio, ma tra passaggi stretti, fango e rocce, la Sasquatch può farvi divertire molto.
Anche nella neve si comporta allo stesso modo, non portatela nelle piste battute semi-pianeggianti, ma in sentieri tecnici preferibilmente in discesa.
Bluto mi ha fatto divertire, credo che le fat nascono rigide, ma se amate scendere nel tecnico è un upgrade che vale la pena fare... (anche se spesso dovrete pensare di modificare anche il mozzo).
I freni Sram Guide R si sono comportati davvero bene, credo sia un impianto ideale per le fatbike, mai un calo di prestazioni, sempre modulabili in qualsiasi condizione.
Le gomme Vee Snowshoe pur dichiarando una larghezza di quasi 5 pollici (4.7), sono larghe meno di un Nate e pur comportandosi sempre in modo dignitoso non mi hanno impressionato.
Il difetto della Norco?
Bè a parte il porta borraccia in cui potete mettere solo una borraccia da bambino è che la bici è specialistica e più orientata alla discesa o al tecnico di qualsiasi altra fat.
Il prezzo di listino la rende allineata alla concorrenza, ma il prodotto è davvero esclusivo e con una Bluto già montata.
La bici consegnata dall'officina Cyclelab pur essendo una bici test non ha avuto bisogno di nessuna regolazione confermando la competenza del reparto meccanico.

For nearly a week I pedal with this bike.
Thanks to Shop Cyclelab in Conegliano, I got to test it in all my favorite land.
Aesthetically it is different from all the fat on the market.
Personally I find it very beautiful, the frame is really tiny, seems made only to imprison the tires.
Of this model series mounts already Bluto, and according to the manufacturer (Norco), the frame is thought precisely for this.
Here are the driving impressions.
The bike is different from any other fat that I tried; driving like an enduro bike and to guide precision must move forward and load.
It seems in no love sliding paths and transfers, less than any other fat when I got!
While getting the weight standard with pedals 15.5 kg does not make some snappy, but also the geometry seem to satisfy his nature gravity.
Just down this bike seems to make better, agile in narrow, lets get down where there is no trace, glossing over anything!
The Rock Shox Bluto does his work and makes sure any passage, like any fat prefers the slow technical trail, in the fast trails other bikes can go much better, but in narrow passages, mud and rocks, the Sasquatch can entertain you a lot.
Even in the snow behaves the same way, do not take it in the beaten tracks semi-flat, but preferably in technical trails downhill.
I like Bluto, if you love going into technical Bluto is a good upgrade... (although often you will have to think of change also the hub).
The brakes Sram Guide R work really well, I think it's ideal for fatbike, never a decrease in performance, more adaptable in any condition.
The tires Vee Snowshoe while declaring a width of almost 5 inches (4.7), are wide and less than a Nate while behaving in a dignified manner not always impressed me.

Well apart from the bottle cage where you can put only a water bottle of your child is that the bike is more specialized and oriented to downhill and technician more to any other fat.
The list price makes it aligned with the competition, but the product is really unique and with a Bluto already mounted.
The bikes supplied by the shop Cyclelab although a bike test not needed any adjustment confirming the competence of the mechanical department.
